Kukes discusses possible Oacoma strip mall with board


Barry Kukes presented the funding request for the Lake Francis Case Development Corporation to the Oacoma Board on Monday night. The funding request for 2017 is $3,500 which was the same amount as the 2016 request. Kukes informed the board that the financial needs for LFCDC has changed as the old building has been sold and freed up funds. The board was also informed that LFCDC is working on bringing a strip mall to Oacoma with three stores that are interested in coming to the area. The funds provided to LFCDC will be used to push further economic development and enticing businesses to come to the area.
